Our electrodes are of the highest caliber medical grade replacement tens pad (electrode) type available anywhere.
Note: Most tens pads should only be used 2-3 times and than discarded. This is because the sticky adhesive may wear unevenly creating “hot spots”. For hairy applications, use only 1 time, and/or shave to better prepare the area for tens unit treatment.
We also sell Tac Gel. Tac gel may be used to have a better tens unit experience. Tac Gel increases conductivity of the tens pads to the skin. This increases the transmission of impulses from the unit to the skin, and provides a better tens unit experience and treatment.
You do not “need” tac gel, but it’s an available option for particular tens unit users. The standard peel and stick type replacement electrodes found on our site, have ample “sticky” material to adequately do the trick.
